Our COVID-19 Response

With the arrival of novel coronavirus (COVID-19), we have been closely following the guidelines from the CDC to continue safely caring for our patients. New information is available daily, and we will keep you updated as the situation changes. The health and safety of our patients, our staff, and our community is always our top priority.

Office Hours

We have returned to our normal office hours, seeing patients by appointment only.  For the health and safety of all, we are continuing to discourage walk-in patients.

Please call us or request an appointment online!

Keeping You and Our Team Safe

We ask that you come alone to your exam, unless you are a parent accompanying your child to his/her exam, or you need a caregiver to help you.

We will ask you to wear a face covering while you are in our office. Please bring your own mask or scarf, if we have them available, we will provide a disposable mask upon your arrival.

Along with proper social distancing, we will also follow rigorous cleaning procedures for our equipment and our staff will continue practicing proper hygiene and hand washing.

Scheduled Appointments

We will continue prioritizing urgent and emergent appointments, but we are also available for other patient care. Call us or request an appointment online.

For patients with a scheduled appointment, please plan on coming as long as you are free of fever or any other “flu-like” symptoms. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to call us.

Emergency Care

If you believe you have an eye care emergency, call us immediately and we will get you in. An emergency situation would be considered vision loss, eye trauma, severe or recurring headaches and new flashes and/or floaters.

As always, our on call doctor IS available if you are experiencing an eye related emergency. To reach the on call doctor after hours dial 303-665-7797 and follow the message prompts.

Glasses

We are doing our best to accommodate all exam patients in our optical department, but may ask you to schedule a time to come back to choose and order your eyewear.  When you schedule your eye exam, we encourage you to also schedule your appointment with our optician to ensure we can provide you with proper service while adhering to proper social distancing protocols.

Please make an appointment with an optician if you have a glasses-related reason, even if you do not need an eye exam.

All frames tried on will be kept aside for disinfection after each patient.

Contact Lenses

We urge our patients to contact us if they have less than a 90-day supply of contact lenses. For your convenience contact lenses may be via phone and shipped directly to your home.

We remain committed to our patients, our staff, and the community. We appreciate your patience as we work through these unprecedented times. Please contact us with any questions or concerns.
