A Wisconsin native, Dr. Anne-Marie Palmer received her undergraduate degree in biology from Carthage College. From there she attended the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago and graduated with her doctorate in 2013.
While in optometry school, Dr. Palmer worked within the Illinois Eye Institute and Hines Blind Rehabilitation Center, in addition to the Lexington and Crown Point VA systems during her clinical internships. She has also volunteered on humanitarian medical trips to both Nicaragua and Jamaica.
Prior to joining Front Range Eye Health, Dr. Palmer was a staff optometrist at Denver Health Hospital where she treated the underserved population of Denver and gained extensive clinical experience in ocular disease. She then moved on to working with pediatrics for over three years in Longmont, CO. Dr. Palmer’s areas of expertise include comprehensive eye examinations, contact lenses, diagnosis and treatment of ocular diseases including glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetes, and dry eye syndrome.
In her free time, Dr. Palmer enjoys cooking, playing the piano, and running in the foothills with her husband. She is an active member of the American Optometric Association and Colorado Optometric Association.
